At last, and Eärendel was then seven years of age, Morgoth was ready, and he loosed upon Gondolin his Orcs and his Balrogs and his serpents; and of course, dragons of many and dire shapes were new devised for the taking of the city. The host of Morgoth came over the Northern hills where the height was greatest and the watch less vigilant, and it came at night at a time of festival, when all the folk of Gondolin were upon the walls to wait upon the rising sun and sing their songs at its uplifting, for the morrow was the feast which they named the Gates of Summer. But the red light mounted the hills in the North and not in the East; and there was no stay in the advance of the foe until they were beneath the very walls of Gondolin, and Gondolin was beleaguered without hope.

In the year when Big Hope was seven years old,the Dark One finally was ready for game .
He love Gondolin so much that he
decided to send the white city some strange dragons which he made in his great kingdom Angband for fun,with them came his Orcs and his Balrogs and his beloved serpents.
Those pets of the naughty Vala gathered from near and far,they came over the Northern hills where the height was greatest and the road even rougher.But to their upset , not a single guard was there to give them a warm welcome.
That was a holy night before the festival which they called the Gates of Summer ,all the elves dwelled in the city of seven names bathed in the glory of Belthil and Glingal,them were upon the walls to wait for the sun-rising moment and sing their songs for it.
However,the red light shone upon the mountains not in the East but in the chilly North,the unhappy guests rushed towards the very walls of Gondolin without the least hesitation,and the city was left to sang an undescribable song that none of them could imagine a little bit,the song was called "desperation".

时，大希望年七岁，有巨恶谓黑暗魔君者，游荡无度，好飞龙炎魔，又饲奥克长虫以为戏焉。其爱刚多林甚，而遣异龙为使馈之，礼繁盛，曰奥克、曰炎魔，魔君手饲长虫亦有之。
魔君佻易变诈，其使亦连结邪佞，聚众于北山，而其山高峻，险恶不可登，使遂役其众，筚路蓝缕，终至刚多林。然其城民无礼甚，未之迎也。
当是时，夏日之门将近，居七名之城者，皆奉圣树格林加尔、贝尔希尔于城垣，载歌载舞以待日出。
少顷，极天云一线异色，须臾正赤如丹，下有红光，然其方角有异，非出于东而出于北，盖魔君所使不悦，遣其礼入刚多林奏乐，乐曰“断忘”。

When Hope the Great was seven years old, there was a big bad guy called the Dark Lord. He was doing nothing every day and wandering around. He was addicted to dragons and balrogs, and he also has a lot of orcs and snakes to have fun. This big bad guy liked Gondolin very much, so he sent his own dragon as a messenger to gave a gift to people of Gondolin. The gift is very luxurious. There are orcs, balrogs, and snakes raised by the Dark Lord.
The bad guy was deceitful and capricious, and his messenger, the dragon, had also found many friends. A group of bad guys gathered in the North Hill, but the North Mountain was high and dangerous, and it was difficult to climb. The evil dragon forced everyone to go up the mountain, and after thousands of hardships, finally arrived at Gondolin. But the residents of the city were very uncourteous and did not come out to meet them.
At that time, the summer gate was about to begin, and the people living in the city sang and danced on the wall to wait for the sunrise.
Not long after, the clouds in the distant sky all changed color, red like cinnabar, with red light below, but the direction is not the east side, but the north side. It turned out that the messenger of Dark Lord was not happy.He let the gifts go into Gondolin to play music called No Hope.

当伟大的希望七岁的时候，有个叫伏地魔的大坏蛋。他除了到处晃悠啥也不干。他特别喜欢龙和炎魔，还有一大堆半兽人和蛇和他玩。 这个大坏蛋特别喜欢刚多林，就派他的龙给刚多林人民送去了一份礼物。礼物非常奢华，有半兽人，炎魔，还有黑魔王自己养的蛇。大坏蛋虚伪又任性，他的信使，那条龙，也找到了许多好朋友。一大堆坏蛋在北山集结，但是北山又高又险， 很难爬上去。恶龙下令让所有人都爬山，千辛万苦后，大家终于到达了刚多林。但是刚多林城的居民们一点也不热情，没有出来迎接他们。那时候，夏日之门即将开启，城里的人们在城墙上又唱又跳，迎接日出。不久，远方天空的云变了色，红如朱砂，云下透出着红光。但是这红光不在东边，而是北边。原来是黑魔王的使者不开心了。他让被送入刚多林的礼物们演奏了名为《无望》的乐曲。

When the Exalted Hope was seven, there was a big bad Tom. He kept wandering all day long without doing anything. He expressed his crazy love to his dragons and Balrogs, and always had a pile of orcs and snakes surrounding to entertain himself. He desired Gondolin, thus sent a gift pack to its people by his dragon. The pack was luxurious with orcs, Balrogs, and snakes bred by the Dark Lord Tom wrapped inside. Tom appeared to be decisive and headstrong, his delivery man, the dragon, found many BFF as well. A heap of deteriorated eggs were gathered at North Mountain, which was steep and difficult to reach the top. The delivery dragon commanded everyone to climb the cliff, and the eggs reached Gondolin after innumerable trails and hardships. However, citizens in Gondolin weren’t hospitable at all, and no one came out to welcome them. At that time, the gate of summer was about to open, and people were singing “tra la la la la lee” and dancing on the city wall, ready to greet the sunshine. Before long, the clouds far away in the sky blushed, and were red as cinnabar. But the reddish light derived from not east but north. It turned out that the delivery man of the Dark Lord Tom was angry. He ordered his eggs in the gift pack to perform a music named Hopeless.

当大希望七岁的时候，有一个你知道是谁我害怕讲全名而且我也不知道他怎么到中土来的的大坏蛋汤姆出现了。
他成日里漫游，无所事事。他向龙和炎魔表达了深沉热烈的爱意，使他们感动地揍了他一顿。后来他经常带着一堆奥克和蛇，借此弥补他在龙与炎魔那里受到的心灵上的伤害。
最近他移情别恋刚多林，于是让龙带了个小巧精致的礼物给刚多林。礼品包里有奥克、炎魔和蛇，内涵丰富，营养价值很高。他想了想，又加了一堆臭鸡蛋进去，把它们堆在了陡峭的北山下。
快递员让大家爬山，然后历经九九八十一难他们带着臭鸡蛋爬上了刚多林。然而，刚多林人一点也不好客，宅在城里根本没有迎接他们。
夏日之门于此刻降临，人们攀上城墙，唱着“清晨来到城上读书”，跳着舞，准备迎接日出。天空中的云逐渐为太阳所染成丹红，但红光并非来自东方，而是北方。原来是大坏蛋汤姆的快递员生气了。他让礼品包里的鸡蛋唱一首叫《绝望》的歌“刚多林的人们听着～诺多王族基本都死了～你们没有希望～毫无胜算～何必抛掷你们的生命！”
刚多林人不为所动，拒绝了大坏蛋汤姆的求婚，唱了一首名叫《希望》的歌“让敌人付出代价～血债血偿～我们自有后来人～将希望带给这片土地！”

When big hope was seven, a bad guy—Tom—also known as “YOUKNOWWHO” came to middle-earth somehow. He did nothing but wandering all day, pledging his love to both dragons and Balrogs. Such affection moved them indeed and Tom got some punches and hits in return. Ever since, Tom kept the company of Orcs and snakes to heal his wounds of body and soul.
Recently, however, he displayed impressive interest to Gondolin. Thus, he let the dragon bought some delicate little present for Gondolin: a package of Orcs, Balrogs and snakes—various in both kinds and nutrition. He then paused for a second thought: “hmm, maybe some rotten eggs as well.” After that, he stacked them under the steep northern mountain.
The delivery man told everyone to climb the mountain, so they reached Gondolin eventually after eighty-one difficulties. Unfortunately, elves of Gondolin are least known for their hospitality as they all stay at home, offering them nothing but closed doors. So sad.
That was when the Gates of Summer befell, people of Gondolin stood on the city wall and sang the song of “Reading in the morning”. They dance and waited for the sun to rise. Clouds in the sky turned to a reddish color, however the red wasn’t from the east. It was from the north. It turned out that it was the mad delivery man of Tom. He commanded the eggs in his parcel to sing a song of despair: “People of Gondolin listen to this! People of Gondolin listen to this—Noblemen of Nodor are mostly dead—You have no chance—NO CHANCE AT ALL—Why throw—your lives away—!”
People of Gondolin didn’t give a damn about it and refused the proposal of Big Bad Tom and sang a song of hope “Make them bleed while we can! Make them pay for every man! Let other ri—se to take our place!!!! Until—Middle-earth is freeeeeee!!!”

当天选之子大希望七岁时，一个坏人——又被称作“神秘人”——不知为何来到了中洲。他啥也不做，天天闲逛，向恶龙与炎魔表达着深爱。这样的深情确实感动了他们，作为回报，汤姆被狠揍
了一顿。从那以后，汤姆就和奥克和蛇为伴，以此治愈身上和心中的伤痛。
然而最近，他对刚多林产生了兴趣。于是他让龙给刚多林送去一些精美的小礼物：一包奥克、炎魔和蛇——包含各类品种和口味。他又一思索：“不如再来些臭鸡蛋吧。”接着他便把这些东西塞到了北边的山崖下。
邮差让他们都往山上爬，经过九九八十一难，他们都抵达了刚多林。只可惜，刚多林的精灵是出了名的不好客，他们只爱宅在家里，这群怪物只得到了紧闭大门的款待。真是令人难过。
当时正值夏日之门，刚多林的人民站在城墙上，唱着《晨诵之歌》。他们跳着舞，等待太阳升起。天边的云彩渐渐变成了红色，然而那红光并非来自东边，而是北边。原来是汤姆的那个疯邮差，他命令包裹里的蛋唱响了一首绝望的歌：“刚多林的人给我听好！刚多林的人给我听好——诺多贵族已几乎全部阵亡——你们没有希望——你们毫无胜算——为何——抛弃宝贵的生命！”
而刚多林的人民理都不想理他，丝毫不听取大坏蛋汤姆的提议，他们唱响了一首充满希望的歌“我们与敌人奋战到底！他们将付出代价！后来者将奋起接替我们！！！直到——中洲获得自由——！！！”
那些交织的色彩在那一刻有了意义：红，是愤怒精灵们的热血；黑，是充斥那个纪元的黑暗；红，是曙光将临的世界；黑，是终将结束的长夜！有些精灵想起了已故至高王的呼喊：“黎明将至！长夜已逝！”
第十棒甩莉
When the Gil Estel, the chosen one arrivedat his age of seven, a bad guy who was also called Quentin Becker came intoMiddle Earth for the reason who fucking knew. He did nothing except flirt withdragons and Orcs. It touched indeed, so they beat him into dirt to show howthey loved him. From then on, Quentin only hang out with Orcs and snakes fromwhom he looked forward to getting some medicine. However recently his eyes stuckon Gondolin and sent a dragon to deliver some lovely gifts, a cake mixed withdragons and Orcs and snakes. Then he had something in mind that some stinkyeggs should be with the cakes. He threw the gifts into the valley. The postmanclimbed the mountain for the elves were such a bag of potatoes. And they shutthe door in front of of their faces, which hurts their faces and was very rude.It’s the time of summer gate, people of Gindolin sang and danced to welcome Aerincoming. The cloud turned red, but it’s in the north rather the east! Behold, themad postmen who was angry with the rude elves opened the eggs and sang adreadful song.
Hear me! Hear me! I am QUENTIN BECKER fromMiddle Earth 616 and I present free thoughts on Gondolin. Chaos and bloodshedare not a solution. They are playing a dangerous game! For shame! For shame!
However th people in Gondolin ignore himand sang a hopeful song.
Riseup! Tell your brother he’s gonna rise up! Tell your sister she ‘s gonna riseup!
Now the colors got their own meaning. Red,the blood of angry elves. Black, the dark of ages past. Red, a world about todawn. Black, the night that ends at last!
Then there rose a voice of the ghost ofdead king: Do not throw away your shot!
